About Help Geek

Shawn Railey and Toby Alan Dion were both in business with the Geek moniker long before it was trendy. Shawn was and Toby as all the way back in 1998!

After working on several projects together, the two decided that they would be able to grow one business together, better than each growing their own business separate, so they merged their businesses into one business, Help Geek.

Help Geek's management brings to you over 55 years of technology experience. It's only been a few years since Shawn and Toby merged, but they have worked on some awesome projects, including a vehicle tracking solution in 1999. They had a system that would allow you to click a button on the internet, and lock, locate, and disable your vehicle anywhere in the United States or Canada.

Shawn & Toby created the primier marketing system for bars, restaurants and taverns. That system, is still under development, but showcases their custom software development skills.

Now Help Geek focuses on what we do best, helping small business with big business solutions at small business prices. Shawn and Toby recognized the need for small business to have access to a full blown IT department, so they created the Virtual Technology Officer program (VTO). Their staff serves as your IT department. When you sign up with Help Geek, you are assigned a primary and backup geek, that both know your network and needs. That is who you call to have work on your network, not some dispatcher who relays a call.
